we did a cover shoot for i-weekly almost 2 weeks ago=) e cover is abt e 7'princesses'=) i did my cover shoot with fiona, rui-en and jeanette=) it would be so fun if all 7 of us cld do it tog but i think it would be real hard to arrange..anyway, i had plenty of fun cos its always rowdy when alot of ppl are involved in a shoot and with all 4 of us squeezing n then posing for e cover haha we shared lots of laughter n e unglam side of us u wld never see haha....
do check it out this week or even better today=p hehe...i love the feel of e fotoshoot=) v soft and romantic=) n with all e pweety faces, sure to make u smile haha...thank u i-weekly and all dearies who were involved in e shoot for making us look so good=)

hello everyone!=)just wanna share some fotos tt i took when i attended the movie premiere of pirates of the carribean=) johnny depp, keira knightley and chow yun fatt were there as well=p hehe..actually, ppl dressed as their characters la=p but nonetheless, i had alot of fun with jean(funky fwween=p=) met teresa, taufiq, jeanette, nat, shimei, yushu, lee teng, jade, yuyang, belinda etcetcetc=) e movie was a little long lasting 3 hours..but overall pretty good film=)

hi dearies!my com has some prob uploading my photos so temporarily no fotos=p BUT hehe..i have an event today(19th may) at raffles city atrium from 12 to 2pm=) its a colon cancer awareness event sponsered by vitagen so ill be there as an invited guest and ill even sing a song too=) if u can make it tmr, ill love to see u there too=)
after that, ill be going back to mediacorp for our very own family day carnival!its organized by mediacorp and its for the staff of mediacorp=) there would be games, food and phototaking sessions=)ill even be involved in a dunking water game..argh!!!!haha...those u throw ball or something if hit e target then e person drop into e water..wish me good luck=p but its all in the name of good fun n proceeds will go to charity foundations too so i think its all for a good cause i dont mind 'sacrificing' a little=) hehe..
on sunday(20th may) ill be appearing in an outdoor event at warren golf country club at choa chu kang too=) from 230 to 5pm=) would be a busy weekend for me=) hope to provide more pictures to supplement all our excitement!=)hehe..enjoy yr weekend dearies!=)ill miss u=)

hello hello dear prince and princesses!=)sorrie didnt get to come online yest cos i was having e worst tummy ache=(ate a sandwich with pine nuts in it accidentally for dinner n i felt like puking even three hours later=( im v allergic to pine nuts so whenever i eat/see/hear abt them, they make my tummy queasy=(so i was like on my bed, holding on to my tummy(v painful!)n eventually i just fell alseep=( just woke up n felt much better=)sorrie if anyone of u waited up for me!

had a fotoshoot at genting lane today=p clarence lee did my makeup n david gan was there for this hairshoot too=p(tog with his assistant desmond=p) had alot of fun cos it had been awhile since i did a fotoshoot with david n clarence=)thanks to them i looked meimei de=p look out for it in july!=p

imperfection is e best form of beauty=]
was taking fotos of e roses on e table where we were filming when someone pointed out to me tt hey!u r taking e photo of a half damaged rose the other rose is nicer!more perfect!(see pic3 n 5=p)hmmm..to my dismay n realisation, i find e imperfect rose much more beautiful n with much more character compared to the one which is perfect in every sense-colour, shape, beautiful petals etc....
mayb this can be reflected in real life..sometimes, we may not be e best or most beautiful person...but just as long as we believe in ourselves, see beyond e physical beauty n we may/will shine even brighter than someone who is seemingly perfect=) glow just like e imperfect rose!=) in someone else's eyes, you may seem even more perfect than u would ever know=)

memories of 2006 yuan dian( the beginning)=P
i remember=) e fond memories.....for the three months...i rem e apples i share with yuzhong n shaun in e morn for breakfast...e scars from my yet-recovered chicken pox marks tt hody n kk(our v much loved makeup artistes)have to help me cover up every morn till they finally recovered one month later...
e ever changing hairdo i have for this show..3 in total=) ( tied up, straight n curled at e back)signifying 3 stages of jianings my characters life development, once mixing them up so i ended having straight hair whilst im supposed to have it curled up=p, meeting yuzhongs v nice assistant zuo shou=) making new frens over there( thanks ah paul, chun hua, weiling, xueqing, heyi, yuzhong, stella,william n all fellow kind lovely actors=) all our lovely wonderful crew members, n producers, aps, pas, propsmen, wardrobe lovely frens n drivers!
meeting e poor ppl from a remote part of kl where we were filming stella's home in e show=) e kids were so adorable n i rem giving them sweets n chocolates n bread tt i had to them n they were so coyly shyly excited n accepted them=) they were so cute=)they were also so happy helping me use my camera taking fotos trying their skills cos they have nv seen a digital camera b4=p....sweet memories=)
having 2 massive bruises on both of my knees due to a scene whereby yuzhong threw me out of his dads wake=p....i landed on e grids of a sliding door n they were on my knees for almost 3 weeks...vv painful everyday use hardboiled egg n rub on them in e morn n nite=p...carrying n using an umbrella everywhere i went cos my pox scars couldnt be under constant sunshine or rain=p v auntie rite..n i bought so many handheld fans there cos there have so many diff kinds of cute cartoon designs over there=) i rem one tt i got tt was soooo cute n adorable=p..but its spoilt already...partly due to all our outdoor shoots tts y im always with a fan in case my makeup melts=p...
seeing all e beautiful scenes n backgrds in kl however remote e places are=) eating good food in kl though i cant eat most oily black stuff( esp e black noodles which r supposed to v good there=p) ..driving e bigbig lorry=p, visiting e old folks home there n taking time out to talk to the elderly folk there=) so glad to have e chance to at least chit chat with them=), reading their several copies of chn papers everyday(there have like at least 5 diff papers=p)...reading scripts in our hostel everynite after filming..travelling up n down kl everyday=) distances there are much longer compared to sg..but....its so much fun to do it in a grp=)

i was out jogging last nite when i jogged past a granny walking with a heavy trolley across an overhead bridge..i stopped in my tracks n offered to help..i knew who she was cos ive helped her b4 n she stays near me..i stopped my jog n accompanied her across e overhead bridge dragging e trolley along..she thanked me for my help n chit-chatted with me..abt her life..abt her increasing aching feet n knees...all e while hunching over cos she suffers from a crooked spine..
we walked along e pave n she stopped for her usual routine of feeding a few cats...who recognize her when she approached..stooping over she unwrapped several plastic sheets filled with rice n meat for them..she even has a 1.5l bottle of water which she uses to change fresh water for e cats...after 2 stops to feed e cats n 2 stops to catch her breath while walking..she asked for my name..i told her i was "fengling" n she told me her name..ill call her aunty june...she said her memory is failing her...so i think she might have forgotten me from b4..
we walked to e staircase under her blk n she sat down..so we sat just next to each other..n she started telling me abt her life story, tearing while speaking...seeing her tears just drop with each sentence she utter...all i could do was to put my hand over her shoulder n give her e little warmth i hope i could offer...her lamenting abt her life...her son...her dead husband..her evil daughter in law...her looking after her stroke-bound husband for years carrying him up e stairs, causing her to suffer from back prob now...giving her attention to cats to distract her from life...her waiting to die...how she put her 15 yr old cats down to sleep cos they were suffering...her pain her anguish her helplessness in life...she told me if she showed me her pic when she was young i wouldnt recognize her...she wanted to show it to me...i offered to help her carry her trolley up e 3 flights of stairs..
she led me into her house...a house tt wasnt left behind by her husband but one she bought for her mum with her hard earned money...she forewarned tt her house is v dirty but what i saw was a pretty neat living rm with neatly stacked up piles of newspaper n boxes...i sense her loneliness....seeing her black n white photo, she did look diff but her pretty features are still apparent on her face now..just tt mayb...events have aged her a little...shes 70+ but she looks younger...
she gave me her no n asked me to call her next time when im free...so we exchanged nos n i told her to call me if she needs anything...mayb ill bring aunty june for a meal next time...seeing her smile n wave byebye to me when i left made me feel slightly better..i hope she sleeps well tonight...
i left with mixed feelings in my heart... life has many unpredictable twists...we shd live life with no regrets...n looking back, we shd realise how lucky we are at times..
