* * * * *Singing auditionsPlease prepare 2-3 Chinese Pop songs to sing for the auditions.
You will be judged by music professionals and selected singers will be notified separately.
Selected singers will have to chance to perform together with the 'Let it Shine' Cast of 2007 and 'Campus Superstars' of 2006 on stage in the cause for aiding charity.There is no competition or elimination of singers once you get in and everyone will work towards the goal of making the Concert a success!Selected singers will also undergo intense free training classes to hone their singing skills and stage presence for the concert.
* * * * *Instrumentalists auditionsA band would be formed for the concert. Thus, if you can play the electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboard or any other form of instruments that can contribute to the concert, feel free to come down for the auditions as well.Please bring your own guitars and amplifiers.

hello im back!=)
how was chn new yr for u guys? mine went pretty well=) chu ers seafood dinner was fun!we had four tables fully seated n dinner was yummy too( just tt i wish e almond longan dessert cld hv almond taste insteast of just agaragar=p) in e afternoon went to best frens jeans place=) had vv good homemade lunch n out of e world malay kuehkueh( its purple n white with bits of banana in it..oh my..its like so soft, melt in yr mouth kind n u hanker for more=pp) i love new yr in a way tt its like a v gd gathering for a lot of ppl dear n close to yr heart=) im glad this new yr was a good one for me=) hehe...till next yr...
midnight chinatown action-- lelong*2=p
a group of us went down to chinatown after e new yr show=) i was pretty excited cos its e first time im at chinatown rite after e countdown(norm ill go a few days b4 new yr) it was like 230am n it was still ren shan ren hai lots n lots of ppl! cool! nv got to see this sight of singaporeans at this time still out n enjoying themselves=) we walked ard n ate n drank n shopped..drank coconut juice, bought german hotdogs, seaweed cuttlefish, curry fishballs, mineral water tt cost us $3 but sold for $1.50 few stalls away haha..i bought a piggy showercap for my mum, some new yr decorations, sparklers for my cousins, one pingan fu tt i like alot=) n one pot of flowers tt i bargained for $2..goodie!
most things were going on sale..bags of packet wasabi beans n healthy black beans were going for one plastic bag( fill up all u can) for $5..few stalls away e melon seed stall is doing e same thing too!(one goodie bag filled with packs of melon seeds n biscuits etc) for $5..b4 we left at abt 4, it was going 2 bags for $5=p haha got alittle worried tt e zhuan yun zhu we bought had quite a no. of leaves compared to others ppls' which didnt have a single leaf haha...n we were all teasing tt we had bought 'overgrown' ones..but i think its actually quite alrite la just tt the zhuan yun zhu had been kept for a longer period of time=p
at 330am e crowd was still going strong! incredible!..at abt 4am e rubbish trucks started to come n lights started to switch off n finally e crowds began thinning..but all in all it was so nice to be jostling with e crowd immersing in e new yr spirits!try it next yr if u r free=) go with yr family or a grp of frens..vv fun=)

gongxifaacai! hehe..wishing all a vv happy new yr n may u all enjoy a happy smoothsailing yr of e pig=)) how was yr house visiting today?i had fun with mine=) went to my paternal grandmas house in e late morning=) then ate fried niangao=))yummy!i love e fried nian gao tt my popo makes...unbeatable=)just e rite crispiness without losing e gooey sweet softness of e niangao=)i told her tt she must teach me one day=) watched e re run of e lunar new yr show on tv=)i like my green dress!loved e colour=)and im glad my contestant won e piggy contest=)wat a great way to start a new yr rite=))
then after lunch, me n my cousins played 'daidi' with my uncle haha..loser eats half a mandarin orange=pp my position was pretty lucky=)) v wang always get good cards so end up i ate one n a half orange after playing for almost an hour not bad la rite=p after tt my uncle suggested we play blackjack aka baluck after we nearly finished all e kum at my grandmas place haha(i think we took abt 10 over kum=pp)..so e smallest bet was 10c n largest bet a dollar..so all of us bet only ten to twenty cents play for fun..in e end i won $1.10! yipee! off to a gd start haha..
after tt went to my maternals side to bainian=) had vv equally yummy tian tang tt i have every new yr chu yi when i visit my mama(grandma)..it is like pure bliss la..warm tiantang tt is not too sweet but v soothing to e throat n chockful of baiguo, dried logans n all e gd stuff..played with my little cousins (ashley n aston ten n three) n stayed for dinner as well=) had v gd clear soup n lu dan aka braised eggs=)yum yum!i think i put on 2.5kg today=p...must go jogging liaoz=ppp
tmr ill be going my best frens place to bainian n lunch in then off to my mamas place to see some 'serious' baluck in action where all e stacks of tens n fifty dollar notes come out n we 'kids' watch by e sides haha..eating seafood dinner tog at nite=))looking forward...enjoy yr chu er everyone!gdnite;)

well=) alotof u have been tagging asking wat i did for v day=) hmm...on 14th feb 2007, i went to work at abt 4 plus...had rehearsals for chn new yr segment n then...i went home for dinner haha....no date mah...but im alrite with it la..i believe my mr right will prob appear in ten yrs time haha..anyway..thank u guys for sending me so many emails!im sorry im pretty bz these days but i promise ill reply them asap=)) thank u! oh heres wishing all a v enjoyable reunion dinner tmr!

went for e gala premiere on tues=)n guess who i met tt day?yuzhong! he went with ah do=)wheee..its great to see him in sg=) lin yuzhong is a v talented singer frm malaysia whom i co starred with in a show filmed in kl.. 2 of us n shaun chen r childhood buddies in this show=) so it was a happy reunion=) yuzhong will be attending sats chn new yr eves special too=)
it was pretty exciting attending e premiere=)meeting alot of ppl..n alot of artistes were there too!i walked e red carpet with elvin ng shaun chen n also shaun's co star in his up-coming movie=) on e way up e escalator, elvin turned to me n asked if i want to hold on to his arm..so sweet rite..i could feel a million pairs of piercing eyes looking at me when i walked e red carpet with elvin hand on his arm=p
i must say i really enjoyed e movie..i thot it was funny yet touching=) n i think wen fang jie acted really well=) do watch it when u visit e cinemas!n im pretty lucky to be seated in btw shaun n elvin in e cinema haha=p

last eppie....boohoo...=p
today is e last ep for let it shine=p i couldnt watch it cos i was at an event...luckily i manage to catch it just now when i rushed home n d/l from mobtv=)aww...watching e last ep brings back lots of memories for me..from e scene at e hospital where xinyu passed away..remembered when we shot this scene in e studio(it was taken in one shot no second take..i think huifang jie acted vwell=)) all e other fireflies aka my dear students came into e studio with red swollen eyes..cos they watched it on a screen outside e studio n was v touched by the scene we shot..aww...they r so cute=) i was touched myself frankly=) n then to the scene where me n adam was at e merlion n we had a shot that had us walking down e steps then conti walking n arguing n then the camera pulled out n went round n round n round us..haha can still rem tt took alot of shots cos it was a pretty difficult shot to take..then e scene where i ran down e stairs to catch e cab haha i slipped when i ran down lo so unglam haha but luckily it wasnt in e bloppers=p
was really lucky n great tt i had this chance to play yoyo this character...some pple ask me am i like her..hmm..there is def something of her in me but minus the ' da xiaojie pi qi' haha aka e little missy 'attitude' im not v like tt..im more chor lo=p
i learnt alot from e great cast n crew! must thank youhong jie( my v nice executive producer=)) john, all e scriptwriters, tommy(our duo mei li who shot us v mei mei lili=p n also guoliang ah thong!!), guangrong liwan n wenwen( our vv nice understanding producers), dear janet xiaopengyou jeraldine pauline( vv hardworking aps n frens), angeline cheryl meian wanyu( our dear dear pas=)), xueqing n joy( for e beautiful clothes), bryan n fion for all our imaging=)), ah tan for all our imaging fotos=), ah heng jeffrey n all propsmen, studio crew etc etc(sorry if i missed someone out!) thank u for all yr wonderful help=)) this show wouldnt be possible wo u guys=)
also i wanna thank my vv funny family! xiangyun jie n houren dage are such good role models learnt alot frm them=) n of course my dear bobo for being such great company! of course adam, shaun, ng hui, liyuan, chuxuan, sijia, khim, lirong, brian, renfred, teresa, ally, adriano(all e best for yr studies!time to study hard!=)haha one day i may play yr mum..*faints*at e thot hahahaha=p),xiaolingjie,meijiaojie,huifang jie, geping dage, shinan dage n all e other veteran actors in e show! we have so much to learn frm u guys=) it has been a v hectic yet thoroughly enjoyable two months coming out with let it shine=) thanks for all yr support too dear audiences=) i hope my next show will be out soon so that u guys dun have to wait too long for my next show=)
my next drama is called 'bao jia wei guo' ...imaging starting end of feb n filming starts beginning of march=) maybe it will be out in july.. i mayb more tom boy in this role haven gotten e scripts=)will update u guys after our drama meeting on e 14th( vday=p)

had a roadshow this afternoon at j8=) thanks everyone who came down to lend us yr support!it was fun reuniting with zy, teresa, renfred n adam singing e new yr song n v nice seeing so many supporters too!went town to get new makeup pouch n brushes haha..my fren saw e state of my older makeup bag n brushes for work n told me to buy new ones..PLS..haha...so off i obediently went..anyway wat she said is true..must really take care of yr makeup 'equipment' to avoid skin irritation n stuff like tt=p

life is short..
yest, one of my softball junior passed away..she was only 21..while on e cab to her wake, suddenly it crossed my mind tt life is short..i know tt we shd always treasure every min n sec of our time n life but when things this close strikes u, u will stop n think abt life as a whole..n i start thinking if something really happened to me tmr or something(choi) will i look back n have things tt i regret..could i have done better? could i have been a better person..then i thot..i think life is short n u would never know what would happen to us tmr..n sometimes we get bogged down by things tt u think is troubling u alot but even they will diminish to almost non importance when u know u may not even live tmr? i think e most impt thing in life is to be happy in watever u do..do it e best u can....face problems with a brave heart and most imptly do things tt do not go agt yr own principles n conscience..face it bravely n smile even if e going is tough..be a good person n i think i wld have lived my life with no regrets..sorry to sound so solemn but...well just some of my thots..

woke up at 10+ today...hehe..did some housework..promised my mum ill have lunch with her todae went to ps crystal jade for late lunch=)) yum yum we had nice porridge n few dimsum dishes n one of my fav...this veg dish with 3 types of egg in it=)) nice i like=))
after that we went to marks n spencer hehe..bought some real cute gummies=))
bought e mini jelly babies for my sis..thot e packaging skipping girl looked v adorable=) she is sick hope some cute sweets can cheer her up=) but after buying, i realise eating these mini jelly babies seem abit...eh...=ppp haha...
after tt i went sembawang n saw these 2 cds!!
